In the second quarter of 2025, the social app landscape on the Android platform in Russia showcased varying performance trends across the top five applications. This analysis is based on data from Sensor Tower, providing insights into weekly downloads and active user metrics.

Likee - Short Video Community saw its weekly downloads fluctuate, starting at around 229K and settling near 198K by the end of June. Active users remained relatively stable, with a slight increase from 13.4M to 13.9M over the quarter.

TikTok - Videos, Shop & LIVE experienced a downward trend in downloads, beginning at 205K and declining to approximately 149K. However, active users displayed a consistent upward trend, growing from 22.8M to 23.4M.

The performance of TikTok Lite - Save Data & Fast was marked by varying download numbers, starting at 153K and ending with a peak of 175K. Active users increased modestly from 3.7M to 3.9M.
